Today in class we started off talking about a function being differentiable and the factors that would cause it to not be differentiable. We learned that a function is not differentiable when there is a split, corner or veritical tangent through any point on the graph of that function. Then it is not differentiable at that point. hen we talked about an if A, then B statement and it coverse which is if B, then A. The converse is not always true though. Then we talked about the contra-positive which is if not B, then not A. The contra-positive is only true if the first statement is true. After dicussing that we went over questions on the homework from the night before which concluded the class period.
